Hello!
My name is Larisa, also known on social media as Lara Pickle. I’m a Spanish-Romanian visual development artist, location and BG designer, and Illustrator. My main focus has been TV animation, but I recently wrapped up a musical theatre project, how cool is that! Despite being from the south of Europe however, I’m currently based in London, United Kingdom, and I am - at the moment - a full time freelancer.
But hey, let me tell you why I decided to dedicate my life to this industry!
IT ALL STARTED WHEN…
… I discovered my good old friends Scooby Doo & Buggs Bunny.
I grew up loving Hanna Barbera´s cartoons. At that time these were my main source of inspiration and I always wanted to draw something that look so much alive. Later came Disney, with Mulan and 101 Dalmatians, and a lot of very good animes like FMA. My life was always filled with animation, art and artists that inspired me at every step, so I stuck to it and fought for my dream to come true!
